About Old City Hall

Rich in history and architectural significance, this impressive cut-stone building originally opened in 1910 as a Tech High School and was remodeled to become Harrisburg's City Hall in 1928. The imposing facade was only rivaled by the dramatic interior, featuring an expansive main lobby with grand staircase offset by antique oak paneling, brass and marble accents, and a suspended cast plaster ceiling.
